Refinement, integrity and persistence make the Brunello Riserva 2010 Zodiac Rooster a wine of great importance to which the famous critic James Suckling gave 99 points and which he defined: “a splendid Brunello, which best expresses the unique character of this great year”.

Grapes: 100% Sangiovese

Harvest period: second half of October

Terrain: important presence of Galestro

Altitude: 450 meters above sea level

Breeding: Guyot

Density: 5,000 plants / ha

Yield: 60 q/ha

Vinification: 20-25 days in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28° with prolonged maceration

Maturation: 36 months in barriques

Production: 688 Magnum bottles

Shao Fan

Shao Fan is among the first artists in China to explore the boundaries between visual art and design. Born in 1964 in Beijing, into a family of prestigious artists, he graduated from the Beijing Arts and Crafts College in 1984 and began his professional career in 1989. His works have become icons, symbols of the transformation of modern China and are exhibited in permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert of London.

Charity Gala in Hong Kong

Zodiac Rooster was presented at the Four Seasons in Hong Kong on November 4th. During the evening, 5 Magnums and bottle no. were auctioned. 8 of 5 litres, all signed by the artist and Massimo Ferragamo. The total proceeds were donated to the HKBCF Asian Foundation to support the fight against cancer.
