Li Fuyuan

Born in Kunming, Yunnan, Li Fuyuan attended the Beijing Art Academy in 1957 as a disciple of Wu Guanzhong, leader of contemporary painting in China. After obtaining his diploma in 1963, Li continued teaching in Beijing for several years, and his works have been exhibited in Great Britain, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.

Showing a particular sensitivity to form and color, Li represents the complete animal kingdom in his works. His works aim to highlight the beauty of the natural world, raising public awareness in particular about wild animal species at risk of extinction.

The Brunello Riserva 2011 Zodiac Year of the Dog was officially presented by our team last November 2017. The launch event was held in Singapore, in a glamorous and refined wine vault, which was followed by a series of other more intimate events in the main Asian cities: Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Already during the various evenings, most of the 488 bottles were sold produced and ten percent of sales were donated to various charities, selected depending on the country in which the event was held.
